My Story
Hi, I am Minal Menezes. If you’re not yet familiar with my personal story, I’d like to take a moment to share with you the reasons behind my deep-seated passion for transforming lives through fitness. My journey commenced during my childhood when I encountered challenges as a young girl who faced teasing due to being perceived as “larger.” At that point, I resorted to extreme diets in a quest to find self-assurance, attaching my confidence to the numbers on the weighing scale.
However, this took a toll on my overall well-being, resulting in anxiety and persistent fatigue that left me with no option but to reevaluate and transform my lifestyle.
As I embarked on my personal fitness journey, I delved into extensive research and exploring all aspects related to health and fitness. Armed with a Ph.D. in genetics of metabolic disorders, I educated myself with scientific studies, personal narratives, and, then went ahead and got myself certified as a Personal Trainer. The knowledge I gained was often at odds with the conventional wisdom I had grown up with, making the learning process more fascinating.
My firm belief is that the motivation to exercise and adopt a healthy diet should not stem from a place of self-criticism but rather from a profound love for one’s body. I am committed to empowering both men and women and guiding them on the path to fuelling and nurturing their bodies to achieve the outcomes they rightfully deserve. My goal is for individuals to not only look their best but, more importantly, to feel their best.
To me, genuine beauty and unshakable confidence are inextricably linked to this principle. It was this conviction that prompted me to participate in the Mrs. Australia International Pageant, where I emerged victorious and earned the privilege of representing Australia on the global stage. Today, my mission is to extend this empowering philosophy to others, aiding them in both their mental and physical wellbeing.
